Leola
Leola was my Great-Grandmother. I have fond memories of her quiet strength. When I was born she was as the young folk now say "seasoned". I remember her sitting up tall in the bed with the biggest smile when I walked in. I felt her love and warmth before she even hugged me. Like many black women of her generation when she worked outside the home in domestic roles. When I designed this home imagine the pride she would have felt if in her day this was her house.
